Total Troublemaker

I couldn't believe I only had 1 blog post for January. But then I remembered that I have a full fledged toddler on my hands who is into everything!

His favorite activities include taking the silverware from the dishwasher when we are washing dishes, and locking the wheel locks on his high chair. I am many things, and OCD is one of them. Mason can not pass by his high chair and keep walking if the locks are up (meaning unlocked). He MUST stop whatever he is doing and flip them down (locked) before he can continue on his way of house wrecking. Do you think OCD is really a genetic thing?? Ask Chris, I am pretty sure he'd tell you it is.
February is fast approaching. Which means March is right around the corner, and Chris will go back to 6 day work weeks for a few months. At first, it's nice to have Mason all to myself. We can cuddle (not that he lets me) and play and run errands and do whatever we want. But, the novelty quickly wears off and I find myself wishing Chris were home to help.

Welcome 2011

Chris and I rung in the New Year after Mason was down for the night. For dinner, I attempted Sweedish Meatballs. They were ok, but not really very Sweedish. I'll make spaghetti and meatballs with them this week to use them up. For dessert, Chris and I indulged in Venetian Fondue with all the dippings. I think we ate enough chocolate to count as dessert for a month, or more!!

Mason has really been discovering all of the cabinets, and what's contained in them, in the kitchen. Santa brought him some fridge magnets, which he pretty much proceeded to just pick from the fridge door and through onto the floor, so they went to live in the basement for a while. Maybe when he's 2 they can come back out. Santa brought them because Mom wanted to get him a little more involved in what goes in the kitchen. Seems he didn't need fridge magnets to cause trouble in there after all.

For 2011, I am hoping to get better at budgeting our money, I am trying to be conscience to be a better wife in the every day categories, and I am hoping to TTC #2.

I will stick to my weight loss and fitness goals and maybe even see size 8 capris in time for summer. Wouldn't that be something?!? Down from a, gasp, dare I say it, 20!!
