Rock Collection

Last weekend while I vaccumed, Chris and Mason spent a few minutes enjoying the gorgeous spring weather. Mason thought it was pretty fun to hand rocks, one by one, to his dad to hold onto. Seems he's starting that rock collection a little early!

Swim Lessons Take Two

Mason and I went to swim lessons last spring and he really enjoyed them. Well, I've been a bad mom and haven't taken him to a pool since then. So a friend of mine and I signed up with our kids. Mason's first lesson was a little rough. He was very nervous and clingy. The water was freezing and I really don't think that helped. The second lesson was much better. He was even willing to jump off the ledge and into my arms, which is HUGE! So very proud of my little fish.

Super Bowl Sunday

Mason sported his Cowboy T-shirt for dad's benefit. The Cowboys aren't in the Super Bowl this year, but they were gracious enough to host it.

Snowed In

We had record low temps last week. So cold, in fact, that many of the schools closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. And when the schools close, daycare closes too. I took Tuesday off and Chris took Wednesday off. Mason seemed to have a bit of an upset tummy, so it was actually a good thing he was home with us for a few days. I bought him new cups, with straws, and let him have one on Tuesday for the first time, with some pedialight. Man, did he think he was cool, strutting around the living room with his cup!!
