No Reason in Particular

I don't get it, really, I don't, but Mason thinks it's so much fun to tip the empty bowl up over his face like that. Whatever. I am sure what is now just a silly quirky something that he does, will turn into a horrible bad habit that I'll wish I hadn't encouraged. But for now I'll just enjoy it cause it makes me smile. For the record, the bowl had green peas in it. One of his absolute favorites.

Dump Trucks and Front Loaders

Betty, our sweet next door neighbor, brought these over for Mason a few weeks ago. They belonged to her grandson a long time ago, and have been all but forgotten about until recently. She asked if Mason wanted them, and of course I said yes. What little boy wouldn't want his own dump truck and front loader? I mean, really?!? He has the best time, putting rocks in them and driving them all around the patio. Thanks Betty - they are perfect!

He Likes Corn!!

What can I say, the boy LOVES corn on the cob! I don't know if it's that he gets to eat with his hands, or the butter running down his chin, but Mason LOVES corn on the cob! Simply loves it! That's just fine, son, so does your momma!

Snack

I smile every time I think of his sweet little voice saying "snack" which sounds much more like "nak" than "snack". My heart swells just a little each time. Man do I love this kid!

Exploring The BackYard

Mason really really loves being outside, checking out the yard and the rocks and all of the interesting things out there. Mostly the rocks are his favorite. It's been a really rainy last few weeks, so he hasn't gotten out there as much as I know he'd like. Hopefully the weather will be a little more summery and a little less springy so he can explore!
